The Production Planner is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the production process in manufacturing, including planning workflows, managing inventory levels, scheduling production runs, allocating resources, and monitoring timelines to ensure efficient production and timely delivery of machined and finished goods. A successful Production Planner is detail-oriented, proactive, and adept at forecasting and planning. These qualities ensure that the supply chain operates smooth and efficiently, supporting the company's overall operational goals. Your Impact
Coordinate with department supervisors and managers to create detailed production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and available capacity, including assigning tasks to production teams and setting deadlines.
