About this role

We are seeking a Director, Team Manager for Gartner's Talent Lab! The Talent Lab is Gartner's signature program targeted at high potential early to mid-career expert talent. This program is designed for rapid skill acquisition and career growth, wherein associates will receive hands-on training from top-notch lab managers to gain experience, education, and exposure to Gartner's best practices and research methodologies.

What you will do

  • Act as a region leader for the Global Expert Labs in North America and EMEA with full leadership oversight
  • Be a leader of leaders with direct line responsibility for a management team that is focused on talent development, stakeholder management, and long-term growth of the program.
  • Cultivate, own, and influence stakeholder partnership that yields people and program growth (typically aligned to peer leader of leader-level roles and skip-level oversight of your directs alignments)
  • Partner with GTL 1st Team (APAC Expert Leader and RTL Program Leader) on the holistic leadership and approach to developing early and mid-career talent
  • Manage execution, drive high performance culture and quality of all outputs.
  • Drive team to rapidly advance the associate competencies and capabilities so that they are on-track to transition into aligned content teams within 18 months.
  • Ensure that the Talent Lab follows Gartner processes, adheres to research and advisory methodology guidelines, and adopts changes as they are introduced.

What you will need

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Demonstrated track record of success in people leadership and talent development
  • Leadership experience in dynamic, agile environments that are highly matrixed and evolving
  • Previous experience in research, advisory, or professional services with strong analytical capabilities
  • Influential communication, negotiation, and best-in-class, facilitation skills

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 116,000 USD - 164,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates.
