Job Summary The Corporate Insurance Analyst is responsible for managing financial transactions for KeyCorp's insurance policies and manages and facilitates the claims process. Responsibilities
Manage and facilitate the claims process, particularly in regard to General Liability, Auto, and Property claims
Make prompt and concise coverage determinations relating to incidents, claims and litigation.
Document intake of incident reports and claims and manage flow of additional information In conjunction with Claims Manager, oversee and direct management and resolution of complex losses, including engagement with internal and outside counsel. Interact with third party claim administrators, including establishing standards and monitoring results.
Monitor and record investigation, legal and settlement expenses and timely reserves within risk management information system/claims software system.
Participate in negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations with claimants and insurers.
Engage in the subrogation process to pursue recovery from responsible third parties as warranted.
In conjunction with other department personnel, organize and analyze loss data for underwriting purposes; compile data for actuarial analysis, internal or regulatory reporting, and other uses.
Engage with Facilities, Legal, and Risk to identify emerging risks for underwriting purposes; provide feedback loop to department management to bridge the gap between underwriting and claims, identifying trends with insured claims and risks not typically considered insurable
Manage workflow associated with insurance site inspections and boiler inspections, and related recordkeeping. Perform other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice

Education Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in risk management or a business-related field (preferred)
Professional designation such as Associate in Risk Management (preferred) Tactical Skills Ability to communicate and work with senior business executives
Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
