HonorHealth is looking for a Cardiographic Tech to support the Heart Group at its Osborn clinic located at near the Osborn Hospital campus. The Heart Group is comprised of multiple clinic locations made up of 63 team members that include Medical Assistants, Surgery Schedulers, Registration Schedulers, NUC Techs, CVT Techs, RNs, Physicians and other ECHO Techs. This position reports to the Practice Manager who has an open-door policy, very communicative, empowers the team and supportive. This clinic provides services to patients that are screened or diagnosed with cardiac diagnosis with a wide range of disabilities and range in ages from 18 years to geriatric. This is a very busy clinic that sees roughly 100 - 120 patients daily and works from the place of being both patient and team centric. The ideal candidate must meet the requirements of a high school diploma/GED, current Basic Life Support card and must have complete both a Basic EKG and other 12 Lead EKG documented coursework. To ensure success in the role you must have good communications skills, able to prioritize work-flow, detail oriented, knowledge of EPIC, a team mindset and able to make patient care and satisfaction your focus. Responsibilities Job Summary Demonstrates competency necessary to provide comprehensive cardio diagnostic testing services, which may include all duties of the EKG technician/specialist including but not limited to nuclear stress test, collaboration with Nuclear tech Lexi scans, perform stress echo's. Is responsible for the recognition of abnormal results of all tests performed. Has knowledge and experience in cardio diagnostic testing. Serves as a resource to other departments, and the supervisor. Performs Holter monitor scanning and peripheral vascular testing included but not limited to segmental abi, exercise abi, standard abi. The staff member provides comprehensive care based on the principles of growth and development across the life span of patients served in his/her independent unit. Provision of care is given as described in the HonorHealth Patient Care Policies and service or unit-specific Department Operating Policies.
