We are currently looking for a PRODUCTION PLANNER/SCHEDULER
As the Production Planner/Scheduler, you will be responsible for scheduling and planning product completion by confirmed date. This role will liaison with sales, production, purchasing, engineering and quality to obtain maximum utilization of labor and equipment and ensure on-time completion of customer orders. You will report to the Supply Chain Manager at our Beacon, New York Facility. This is an on-site position with salary range of $85,000-$95,000 annually. A day in the life of the Production Planner/Scheduler can look like: * Creating the Master schedule utilizing the ERP system and appropriate databases * Collaborate with the scheduling team, emphasizing effective communication, teamwork and a professional and respectful work environment * Managing capacity requirements and adjusting as needed * Collaborating with engineering, production management and procurement to deliver productions on-time to internal and external customers * Develops scheduling methodology that delivers a stable schedule, while maintaining agility to support customer needs * Compares current and anticipated orders with available inventory of raw materials; uses judgement to anticipate demand to acquire additional supplies as needed * Manipulate and analyze data for presentation * Integrates sales orders with master schedule; coordinates availability of raw materials, equipment, and staff to meet delivery dates * Communicates schedule changes to business partners * Participates in forecasting meetings with sales, production and other related departments. * Assists in setting action plans to resolve barriers to schedule attainment We are looking for you to have: * Bachelor's degree in relevant field * Minimum 5 year experience in planning/scheduling in a manufacturing environment * Excellent ERP (Microsoft D365 preferred), Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills * Leadership acumen- Acts as a role model, guides, develops and mentors others * Positive team spirit * Entrepreneurial and customer focus- Maintains awareness of and seeking to meet the needs of our customers * Ability to deliver what is promised * Drive for change and innovation * Ability to build relationships through collaboration
