HonorHealth is looking for a Practical Rad Tech to support the Urgent Care Center at the W. University Drive location. This Center is made up of team members that include Providers, APPs, MAs, and other Techs. The patient demographic is from pediatric to geriatric and includes sick care, Occupational Health - drug screens, breath alcohol testing, TB reads and more. This is a team-driven group that strive to work collectively as a team to help one another, fast-paced environment and cheerful under the leadership of a Practice Manager who is involved but not a micro-manager and will jump in to support the team. The ideal candidate must meet the minimum requirements of the successful completion of a piratical technologist program through an approved school recognized by the Arizona Medical Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (MRTBE), prior work experience along with a current Basic Life Support (BLS) card and current PRT certification. Responsibilities Job Summary Under the direction of a radiologist, this position performs diagnostic procedures and demonstrates independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Assumes responsibility for tasks or procedures within the scope of a practical radiology technologist. Ability to produce high quality radiographic examinations and demonstrate independent judgment in a safe and timely manner, as ordered by a physician. Incumbent operates within the scope of practice for a practical radiology technologist. May be required to occasionally float between facilities.
Qualifications Education Other Has successfully completed a practical technologist in radiology program through an approved school approved by the Arizona Medical Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (MRTBE).
