The HR Generalist/Business Partner position responsibility falls into support of several areas of HR including Human Resource Information System (HRIS) maintenance and data integrity, manager and employee relations, compliance and recordkeeping, employee onboarding, staffing/recruitment, employee on-boarding and off-boarding, benefits and salary administration, and HR process implementation and support, with a strong focus on the Operations Group. Must have strong communication and organizational skills, be customer service driven, and have a passion for supporting the Human Resources department to deliver results that align with the vision of the company. Business acumen a must, should be prepared to quantify results and optimize HR processes for efficiency as well as embrace stewardship and collaborate with partners in the community.

Bilingual preferred as job will include speaking, training, writing and document editing in Spanish.

Individual accountabilities

  • Communicate with employees and vendors to resolve any compensation or benefits issues
  • Oversee benefit administration including enrollment, change reporting, claims, leaves of absence and vendor relations
  • Manage staffing and recruiting process, ensuring positive and efficient experience to meet business needs
  • Draft and communicate key messages to employees and is a company ambassador
  • Lead and coordinate new employee onboarding and maintain training records and offboarding and exit interviews
  • Complete compensation and market surveys and ad-hoc reporting as required
  • Lead employee investigations related to code of conduct
  • Organize training, development and teambuilding, and support talent review and management process
  • Support, coach, advise and facilitate managers in the field of performance management
  • Track turnover, absenteeism and labor legal issues
  • Set up and roll out various HR projects and facilitate associated training courses
  • Work closely with Payroll and Finance team to have all correct data in the payroll and HR systems and support invoice process
  • Coordinate recruiting, on-boarding and off-boarding,
  • Administer employee organizational health survey and collaborate on action plan and drive AMMEGA culture and values
  • Work on engagement events and have fun with a disparate workforce across 26 locations
  • Back up payroll support for timekeeping and manage unemployment claims for area of responsibility

Shared accountabilities

  • Participate actively in safety program, maintain training matrix, assist with investigations, file claims and assist employees
  • Partner with employees and managers to resolve employee relations issues, provide coaching to middle management and employees
  • Administer OHI and work together with key stakeholders on communication, action plan and follow up
  • Coordinate employee relations and company-sponsored functions including employee events and wellness activities

  • Provide recommendations that enhance performance and business opportunities to business and HR team
  • Key stakeholders Head of HR Conveyor US, Head of Operations and Regional Production Managers/Sales Leaders
  • Ensure alignment with global Human Resources standards to build high performing organization


Requirements/Preferences
  • Spanish bilingual
  • Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Business Administration or equivalent preferred
  • Excellent communication, project management and organizational skills
  • Minimum 5 - 7 years in HR Generalist role in manufacturing
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in matrix organization
  • Excellent computer and analytical skills - MS Word, Excel, PPT, Teams
  • Prior experience with HRIS and report writing
  • Valid driver's license, able to work in US and travel 10%
  • Certified HR professional preferred
