Job Purpose: The Office and Facilities Manager will cultivate a professional, safe, and enjoyable work environment that is employee-centric and engaging. This role requires a high degree of professionalism, initiative, and independence in managing office and facility operations.

responsibilities:



  • Proactively plan and execute site-wide events, employee engagement activities, and celebrations, including set-up and clean-up support
  • Implement and manage office policies and procedures to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Build and manage relationships with vendors (including but not limited to uniforms, janitorial, vending, etc.) ensuring high levels of service.
  • Applies initiative, proactive planning, situational awareness and attention to detail to make certain the Company optimizes budgets focused on facilities and office management.
  • Responsible for designing, sourcing, and managing the production and inventory of team swag to enhance brand visibility and foster team spirit.
  • Manage and coordinate all catering orders to ensure high-quality food and service for team events and meetings.
  • Manage collective office seating regarding capacity and new employee onboarding, including preparing workstation, scheduling tech setup, etc.
  • Create and manage site-wide calendar to provide complete view of all events, visitors, and large meetings going on at any time
  • Manage and provide day of support for group visits to the plant. Ensuring all logistics, catering, and materials, are organized and managed effectively.
  • Develops office safety guidelines with the safety team
  • Partners with HR Specialist on community engagement events and/or partnerships
  • Manage the Receptionist; serve as back up to the Receptionist, as needed.
  • Assist with site-wide communications and updating message boards.
  • Owns, manages, and organizes the team storage spaces in the office, including development and enforcement of office organization guidelines.
  • Maintain responsibility for general office upkeep and "look and feel." This includes keeping lunchrooms and supply areas stocked, clean and functional, and office equipment working.
  • Collaborate with company-wide colleagues to achieve common objectives and share best practices regarding office and facilities and events
  • Assist the People team with onboarding and offboarding tasks as needed
  • All other duties, as assigned.


skills/qualifications required:



  • 3+ years of office or facilities management experience required
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing preferred
  • Proven ability to lead, collaborate, analyze, and make important judgment calls
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities while adhering to deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience managing direct reports
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
