This position requires strong time management, communication, and ability to work within a team skills are also required. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $82,875 - $121,550 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will do in This Role:

Project Leadership

  • Able to dissect a vendor quote. Know system, products, and where in quote to find information.

  • Compare sales/estimating documents with company and customer standards.

  • Schedule and facilitate mechanical and overall System Tech reviews.

  • Track project financials. Communicate and document project risks, overruns, and underruns.

  • Generate and track overruns and underruns, including plans to mitigate risks.

  • Participate in schedule review, aligning to other disciplines milestones.

Design

  • Check and approve all system drawings.

  • Verify design (check someone else's work) of advanced/complex areas.

  • Able to check drawings and BOM for compliance to department standards and customer specifications.

  • Able to create complex project sketches and coordinate requirements with Installation, Controls Engineering, and other groups as needed.

Commissioning

  • Schedule pre-commissioning meetings.

  • Develop commissioning checklist.

  • Verify final commissioning plan from PM for concerns, with minimal assistance.

  • Lead commissioning efforts on-site.

  • Assist other engineers in troubleshooting mechanical issues

What We are Looking for:

  • Has 4+ years of related experience.

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferred

  • Project-based engineering experience, preferred.

  • Background in Material Handling/Automation industry, preferred.

  • Software experience: Required - 2D & 3D CAD, and Microsoft Office. Helpful - AutoCad, and/or CET/Maestro experience

  • Develop staffing plan.

  • Develop project implementation plan and submit to Manager, with assistance.

  • Identify and coordinate with third parties.

  • Understand how to separate the hours of a project into tasks required to complete the project
