Marketing Data Analyst WHAT WE SEEK

We're looking to add a Marketing Data Analyst to the marketing team to maintain, organize, analyze, and interpret data related to digital marketing campaigns, customer behavior, and market trends to help us be more effective and efficient. WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE
- Analyze marketing campaigns across multiple channels (e.g., email, paid search, paid/organic social media, landing pages) and provide insights to optimize performance and drive ROI.
- Analyze survey data and other market research findings to provide actionable insights for both internal stakeholders and target audiences, influencing product positioning, messaging, and overall marketing strategies.
- Monitor website traffic and engagement using Google Analytics, HubSpot, Semrush, and other tools, and make recommendations for optimizations.
- Perform customer segmentation analysis to identify key audience behaviors and trends, helping refine marketing strategies.
- Develop, maintain, and present dashboards that track KPIs, campaign performance, and customer behavior insights.
- Create reports and dashboards to track performance and trends, focusing on KPIs throughout the lead-to-sale lifecycle (engagement, lead conversions, opportunity conversions, impact on revenue, ROI).
- Measure and analyze the effectiveness of A/B tests and marketing experiments to provide actionable recommendations.
- Partner with marketing managers to define key metrics for success and deliver insights that shape campaign strategies.
- Identify opportunities to automate data collection and reporting, leveraging AI and other strategies to streamline processes for greater efficiency.
- Work cross-functionality to manage and optimize data integrity and data flow, ensuring consistency and accuracy of marketing performance data.
WHAT SHOULD BE IN YOUR BOOKBAG
- Analytical mindset with 3+ years of experience in a data or marketing analytics role
- Proficiency with tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, and Salesforce
- Strong experience with digital marketing channels (e.g., email, paid social, SEM, display) and the ability to analyze performance across these channels.
- Expertise in customer segmentation, consumer behavior analysis, and A/B testing.
- Ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for a non-technical audience.
- Familiarity with SQL and Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with marketing automation and CRM systems to track customer journeys.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both marketing and non-marketing teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver insights in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field preferred.
