General Description:
We are seeking a skilled Compensation and Benefits Manager to oversee and administer all of HRL's compensation and benefits programs. The ideal candidate will ensure that our total rewards strategy attracts, retains, and motivates employees while maintaining compliance with relevant laws and industry standards. This role requires strong management of people and programs, analytical expertise, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of employee compensation structures.
Essential Duties:
Design, implement, and manage compensation and benefits programs to align with business objectives and employee needs
Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitive pay structures
Develop and administer incentive programs, merit increases, equity reviews, and job evaluation processes
Oversee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, retirement programs, and other employee perks
Ensure compliance with legal regulations, such as FLSA, ERISA, and ACA
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to manage budgets, advise on best practices, market conditions and compensation costs effectively, including active budget stewardship and meaningful resource allocation
Partner with external partners to negotiate and manage employee benefit plans and the related expenses to employees and HRL
Educate employees on compensation and benefits policies through workshops and communication initiatives
Support management in the creation of new roles, their internal relativity and external benchmarking
Build out and maintain career ladders and skills matrices for the organization
Analyze trends and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and provide recommendations of compensation and benefits strategies
Handle employee inquiries regarding salary structures, benefits enrollment, and other related matters
Partner with external vendor to age salary scales annually and conduct semi annual full market review

Required Skills:
Demonstrated proficiency in all areas above
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in compensation, benefits and total reward administration
Strong knowledge of compensation frameworks, benefits plan design, and compliance requirements
Proficiency in HRIS systems and compensation analytics tools preferred (UKG preferred)
Proficiency in MS Excel
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders at all levels
Ability to develop and manage strong relationships with internal and external partners and clients
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience in managing third-party benefits providers and consultants
Certification such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or SHRM-CP/SCP is a plus
Required Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance preferred or equivalent related experience

Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $132,765 - $165,983 + bonus + benefits.
