Genesis10 is currently seeking a Data Analyst Financials with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Analyze project budgets, tracking spending against planned costs, identifying areas of overspending and potential cost-saving opportunities Analyze team capacity and resource utilization to identify bottlenecks, optimize project staffing, and manage workload distribution Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to technical development, such as development velocity, bug resolution rates, and code quality, linking them to financial implications Create financial models to predict future project costs, based on historical data and current trends, aiding in budgeting and planning Present complex financial data through clear and actionable dashboards and reports to technical teams, enabling easy interpretation and decision-making Work closely with the finance department to ensure accurate data collection, reporting, and alignment with overall company financial goals Requirements: Strong Excel skills to build Macros and Dashboards Understanding of financial concepts and ability to build financial models for forecasting and scenario analysis. Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI Experience with data analysis tools like SQL and Python are desires to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets from various technical systems.
