Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Program Manager/Scrum Master with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Lead and manage the Data Controls Program/Portfolio, ensuring alignment with risk and compliance standards Oversee the Data Controls Framework, improving data governance, controls, and risk mitigation strategies Drive execution of data analysis initiatives, identifying trends and potential control gaps Partner with audit, risk, and technology teams to strengthen data integrity and ensure regulatory adherence Maintain and enhance Jira tracking for data controls initiatives, ensuring transparency and accountability Lead large-scale programs/projects, ensuring they meet business objectives and compliance requirements Develop and manage project roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables across multiple teams Ensure accurate reporting of program health, risks, and compliance status to senior leadership Act as a liaison between audit, risk, technology, and business leaders, driving cross-functional alignment Support the Risk & Control Framework, identifying process gaps and implementing improvement strategies Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement to ensure smooth execution Coach and support teams on Agile methodologies and best practices for project execution Manage Jira boards, tracking progress and resolving roadblocks to keep deliverables on schedule Strengthen data governance and control mechanisms through detailed risk analysis and framework improvements Conduct current vs. future state analysis, identifying gaps and implementing structured solutions Establish and maintain documentation repositories, ensuring traceability and periodic review cadence Mentor and guide Business Execution/Governance Analysts, ensuring their successful integration and contribution Foster a collaborative matrix environment, promoting knowledge sharing and operational excellence Partner with executive leadership to define long-term data governance and risk management strategies Requirements: 7+ years of Program/Project Management experience in financial services, risk, or technology Proven experience leading data governance, controls, or compliance programs Strong Agile/Scrum Master experience, with expertise in facilitating cross-functional teams Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and Agile project management tools Experience in Financial Crimes, AML, or Risk & Compliance programs Strong analytical skills, including experience with data extraction, analysis, and reporting Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
