Data Analysis Manager


The Data Analysis Manager is responsible for providing analysis and insights to support key projects, reports, and strategic initiatives within Residential Sales and Service Enablement. This role will focus on analyzing data, identifying trends, and delivering actionable recommendations to enable well-informed business decisions. The Data Analysis Manager will work closely with key stakeholders to understand business needs, interpret complex data sets, and present findings through clear and effective reporting. A key responsibility includes contributing to the Monthly Operational Review, ensuring that insights drive meaningful discussions and strategic direction. By demonstrating critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and strong data visualization techniques, the Data Analysis Manager will play a crucial role in delivering impactful analysis that supports business performance and decision-making.

What You'll Do

  • Works with business partners and stakeholders across multiple products, business, or organizational areas to understand primary strategy, objectives, and priorities; helps connect these goals with underlying data and delivers insight driven analysis.
  • Provides data-driven insights and analysis to support key projects, reports, and initiatives, including the Monthly Operational Review.
  • Effectively utilizes tools, techniques, and processes to gather, report and analyze data, including Oracle PL/SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, Tableau Prep, Toad, Oracle SQL Developer, Excel, and other data mining, preparation, and visualization tools.
  • Effectively translates complex data driven analysis into clear, meaningful, and actionable findings; provides relevant solutions and recommendations.
  • Leads collaborative, cross functional initiatives, and projects; provides thought leadership on data requirements and scope of analysis necessary to support decision-making and deliver business insights.
  • Designs, develops, implements, and maintains suite of enterprise dashboards and reports, supporting multiple internal client groups.
  • Identifies, researches, and resolves discrepancies in analytical processes or cross-functional methods.
  • Analyzes current and historical performance, performs variance analyses of key metrics, and identifies trends.
  • Creates scenario models to assist the business in complex decision making and forecasting outcomes.
  • Solicits feedback and continuous learning opportunities to expand knowledge and capabilities related tools, techniques, relevant data analytics principles and methods required to perform operational analysis.
  • Meet established timelines and committed tasks during each sprint cycle and proactively communicates any risks, issues, or challenges in meeting deliverables.
  • Provides guidance, direction, and thought leadership to one or more junior analysts, fostering professional development and analytical expertise.

Who You Are

Minimum

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (i.e. Business Intelligence & Analytics, Information Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.) and 6 years of experience in a related field(e.g. reporting, statistics, data modeling, data analytics, data visualization, data interpretation).. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years of experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience in a related field; or 10 years of experience in a related field.
  • Advanced reporting knowledge and significant experience building and delivering enterprise reporting solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of industry best practice and implementation of scorecards, dashboards, and reports utilizing data visualization tools (Tableau and/or Power BI preferred).
  • Proven ability to design visually compelling, intuitive dashboards with robust drill-through capabilities that enhance data exploration and insight generation.
  • Intermediate SQL skills, preferably in our Oracle PL/SQL environment.
  • Fundamental understanding of data/solutions architecture.
  • Vast experience working directly with business leaders and supporting multiple stakeholders.
  • Skilled analytic and diagnostic skills utilizing a data-driven/metrics-driven approach. (Data Storytelling).
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills with a proven history of influencing outcomes and gaining alignment.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently, effectively, and proactively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, dynamic, and virtual environment.
  • Proven ability to work in a cross-organizational team environment collaborating with business leads on key analytical deliverables.


Preferred

  • Master's degree in a related discipline and successful experience developing advanced reporting & analytics solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of Power BI, Tableau and Tableau Prep.
  • Prior experience with data analytics in a contact center environment, specifically working with voice, chat, & digital data.
  • Prior operations and analytics experience with Cox Communications.
  • Advanced experience with UX/UI design as it relates to developing intuitive and effective reporting solutions that enhance data visualization and insight delivery.


USD 90,100.00 - 150,100.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $90,100.00 - $150,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Benefits:

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
