RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Clinic Manager to join our team. We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. Come join us and shine brighter together!

As a Clinic Manager you will be accountable for all operational aspects of running a center(s), which includes planning, staff management, and on-going customer service functions. This role also performs the functions of a Technologist.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Fosters an environment where customer service is a priority by believing in and practicing.

(40-60%) Patient Imaging



  • Screens patients before examination for any precautions or contraindications pertaining to the examination


  • Explains and prepares patients for procedures that will be performed, explaining the procedure, positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately scanned and providing patient support by talking to patients throughout the procedure
  • Performs routine and advanced radiologic procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury with minimal amount of supervision or repeats
  • Adjusts scan parameters correctly and as needed


  • Accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS)


  • Converses with doctors, nurses, patients and family members as required, ensuring a high quality patient service is delivered
  • Follows physicians' orders precisely and conforms to safety regulations to protect themselves, their patients, and coworkers



(30-50%) Center Operations



  • Evaluates current processes to ensure the effective fulfillment of objectives
  • Assists with the budget and makes responsible financial decisions for the center
  • Provides ongoing and timely communication to management and staff regarding center performance, staff performance, events, issues, etc.


  • Promotes and motivates good customer relations with patients, physicians, visitors and other associates
  • Ensures compliance with state regulations and internal policies regarding documentation and tracking of safety and licensing-related items
  • Interfaces with Company Radiologists and applicable Technologists to create and maintain up-to-date protocol manuals for all modalities and ensures all procedures meet required standards
  • Develops and maintains strong relationship with hospital partners, where applicable, through regular communication and timely follow up related to day-to-day operational items
  • Assists local management and sales team in maintaining relationship with outside referring physician offices via personal visits and/or ensuring highest quality of customer service functions.
  • Maintains a safe, clean and orderly environment for patients, technologists, radiologists and any other center associates with the assistance of the center safety coordinator


  • Oversees and orders appropriate supplies as necessary following company guidelines on inventory control
  • Researches and resolves issues or complaints with regard to patients, customers, referring physicians and their staff
  • Ensures compliance of safety standards such as OSHA, radiation safety standard precautions and infection control policies
  • Responsible for maintaining ACR equipment accreditation



(10-20%) Staff Management



  • Leads regular staff meetings and associate one-on-ones
  • Initiates and participates in compensation recommendations, staff performance evaluations and on-going development of associates including performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions and/ or terminations when necessary
  • Supports and conducts training efforts for continuing education and professional development of staff
  • Oversees and assists in training and onboarding of new associates
  • Manages the recruiting, interviewing and hiring process
  • Monitors and approves timecards
  • Defines job responsibilities/specialty tasks and priorities
  • Develops and monitors the teams' performance through a QA process
  • Establishes associate schedules to provide for planned time off



(5%) Performs other duties as assigned

SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:



  • Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography
  • ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing, with advanced certifications as appropriate for assigned modality
  • Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable
  • Must have training and experience sufficient to competently perform radiographic procedures independently
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
  • 3-5 years of related medical experience, preferably in outpatient radiology imaging


  • Valid driver's license and proof of current insurance


  • 2+ years of prior management and supervisory experience


Preferred:



  • Bachelor's degree
