DIRECTOR OF RECOVERY SERVICES

Michael's House is currently seeking a Director of Recovery Services to join our leadership team. The Director of Recovery Services is responsible for team collaboration and provision of all aspects of residential counseling as well risk management duties, including patient safety and process improvement initiatives.

This position is located at UHS facility, Michael's House, in Palm Springs, California.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Oversees the residential counseling program and ensures that the facility remains in full compliance with all local, state, or federal regulatory and accreditation requirements.
* Provides direct supervision to Residential Counselors, RC Manager, Adventure Lead, and Activities Coordinator.
* Responsible for updating and collaborating with all department managers.

Education and Experience

* Bachelors' degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* 3 years management experience
* 5 years of supervisory experience
* Minimum 5 years' experience in co-occurring disorders.
* Licensed or certified as a chemical dependency counselor
* Excellent Microsoft/Excel proficiency
