Responsibilities
About Temecula Valley Hospital MRI Tech Essential Job Duties: The MRI Tech assists the radiologist during (injection, biopsy, drainage) procedures and if necessary (contrast reactions or code blues) by preparing the room, tray, and supplies and by anticipating the needs of the physicians and patients. Performs all appropriate procedures in the computer as needed (i.e. scheduling exams, completing exams by computer terminal, and proper charging of supplies, etc.). Completes all proper forms (i.e. MRI Screening form, pregnancy and contrast form) and scans forms into PACS system and EMR. Documents any work related incident (i.e. patient fall, IV extravasation, work-related injury, etc.) through the designated program in a timely manner. Report immediately to ClinicalSupervisor/Director or designee any equipment problems (i.e. x-ray, processors, computer, etc.). Performs necessary Quality Control procedures to ensure quality exams are performed. Performs other related duties as requested by the Imaging Director /Clinical Supervisor including, but not limited to: stocking rooms, maintaining clean work area, transporting patients, training new employees, etc. Qualifications Essential Knowledge/Skills:
