The Innovation and Development Division (IDD) drives the innovation strategy for the Hubs and Operations, and contributes to the Group's transformation. It is responsible for imagining, developing and incubating new solutions until they are brought to market, particularly when it comes to offers with a high technological content (including digital and IT). IDD gathers more than 3,000 employees from 70 nationalities at 60 sites.

We are excited to invite you to join our Procurement team in Newport, where you will play a key role in supporting our procurement strategy and supplier diversification efforts. Job Duties
Assist buyers in the sourcing and procurement of machined components, including, identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, requesting quotes and negotiating prices, placing purchase orders and tracking deliveries, and maintaining accurate records of supplier interactions and transactions Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and new technologies in machined components Support the development and maintenance of supplier relationships Collaborate with internal stakeholders (engineering, quality, production) to understand their requirements and ensure timely delivery of components Assist with inventory management and control Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement department Perform other related duties as assigned Learn safety policies and procedures Track POs, confirm deliveries, and resolve discrepancies. Work independently as well as with cross functional teams (including but not limited to engineering, Quality, manufacturing, safety functions) to on board alternate suppliers and validating the samples before production batch. Update the Material list with price comparison and provide weekly update to the management Understand the INCO terms, Purchase order terms and conditions, basic engineering drawings Prepare and present a summary of experiences and lessons learned to Management staff at conclusion of internship

Requirements
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field with strong interest in procurement and the manufacturing industry Basic understanding of machining processes and components Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Detail-oriented and organized Ability to work independently and as part of a team
