Overview
The Research Program Coordinator will be an integral member of the study team for CUPS, the Champaign-Urbana Population Study within the Carle Illinois Imaging Center. CUPS will assemble a large and unique database of ultrahigh magnetic field neuroimaging data, including data from underrepresented populations, and will help to establish the Carle-Illinois Advanced Imaging Center as a leading center for biomedical imaging research. The Research Program Coordinator will facilitate and support these efforts by helping to enroll and assess study eligibility of a diverse sample of adult participants, consent and schedule participants, collect, log, and evaluate behavioral assessment research data, track and oversee participants' remuneration, maintain regulatory documentation, assist in study modifications, and coordinate the daily activities of CUPS. Additionally, will be responsible for promoting a positive experience for the participants, engaging in community outreach, and encouraging participant retention through later phases of the project. Qualifications Certifications: , Education: Bachelor's Degree, Work Experience: Program coordination Responsibilities Works in collaboration with CUPS study team, investigators, and imaging staff. Recruits and manages study participants, including screening participants for protocol eligibility, covering informed consent, screening and inclusion/exclusion of the participants adhering to safety and compliance issues. Participates in accurate and timely data collection including behavioral and health history assessments, data entry, study evaluation, and reporting. Coordinates and assists with participants’ use of Research Electronic Data Capture (REDCap). Schedules, coordinates planning, and participates in monitoring study activities. Assists in development of materials and tools necessary to appropriately train individuals involved in the conduct of the study around issues related to, but not limited to, protocol requirements, schedule of participant visits, and execution of study. Maintains effective and timely communications with study team and participants during the course of the study. Provides a safe environment for participants, families, and imaging staff at all time through compliance with all federal, state, and professional regulatory standards. Maintains strict participant confidentiality according to HIPAA regulations and applicable law. Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $24.18per hour - $40.38per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
