Job Summary

Drives a hospitality environment by greeting guests, offering samples, touching tables, and leading guest-facing marketing and wellness programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Assist in setting up and attending dining events and a variety of monotony breakers to ensure proper execution of intended initiatives from the marketing plan, which includes meeting and greeting customers, facilitating contests and promotions, taking photographs, issuing reports on progress of the event and surveying the campus population.

* Maintain CDS website and ensure accurate and timely information of all marketing programs, menus, hours, photos of events, News Box, etc.
* Assist with the design, and development of advertising and POS collateral.
* Coordinate and organize special events and monotony breakers with pulls, and orders as needed.
* Assist with Meal Plan Sales during campus events and orientation.
* Assist with communications by manning telephone and CHATback lines.
* Assist with campus engagement by being able to discuss campus dining operations and provide positive information to various groups.
* Conduct periodic marketing audits in each dining location, with action plans if necessary.
* Maintain positive communication and relationships with campusliasons and parents.
* Develop and conduct public presentation to students and other campus constituencies as necessary.
* Identify and advise on product and marketing improvements and enhancements.
* Assist with various campus surveys.
* Compile data on various marketing promotions to assess success and capture rates.
* Execute corporate and Campus marketing programs.
* Other marketing initiatives as assigned by RDM.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
