Treasury Intern Job Description

Our Treasury Department is currently hiring for a summer intern. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience and learn from a team with varied strengths.

Responsibilities

* Assist with customer master data cleanse project.

* Provide funds research and resolution support to Treasury Accountant.

* Assist with project to validate correct categorization of vendor master data.

* Utilize various software applications including SAP, MS Excel, MS Access and web-based tools to assist with validation of customer and vendor master data.

* Review, research and find resolution for unidentified fund items.

* Preparation of customer master data in anticipation of transition to new version of SAP.

* Create standardized process for unidentified funds resolution while reducing overall balance.

* Ensure integrity of vendor master data, specifically attributes related to category codes.

What you will learn

* SAP Financial Accounting module skill development

* Master Data exposure and experience

* Business application of MS Tools

* Interdepartmental relationship building skill development

Qualifications

* Pursuing Bachelor's, as a rising Junior or Senior, in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, Business or similar undergraduate program with a minimum GPA of 3.0

* At least one Finance, Accounting or Business course completed

* Proficient in MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Access)

Requirements

* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

* High level of attention to detail and organization with the ability to multitask

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of Management

* Proficiency regarding time and meeting target dates; Ability to work under pressure given tight deadlines

* Must be a quick learner, self-directed, proactive, and curious

* Ability to be flexible and adjust to changing factors and conditions

* Curiosity about the hospitality and service industry

* Can-do attitude

* Attention to detail

* Demonstrate awareness, understanding, and skills vital to work in a diverse environment
