Job Description:

Saab, Inc. is seeking a Digital Communications Specialist to enhance our online presence, developing and leading a comprehensive digital communications strategy that supports Saab, Inc.'s priorities, builds and protects the organization's brand and strengthens engagement with key stakeholders. This role will manage digital content across several company platforms.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute digital communication strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement.

  • Update the company website with fresh, relevant content and manage content to ensure accuracy and consistency.

  • Optimize website content for search engines (SEO) and improve search rankings.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling content including graphics, videos, and articles for use on the company website, social media and internal channels.

  • Coordinate and manage paid digital advertising campaigns, including social media ads and Google Ads.

  • Monitor and analyze digital performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

  • Assist internal communications via digital platforms, such as intranet.

  • Ensure brand consistency and messaging alignment across all digital platforms.

  • Stay updated on digital marketing and defense industry trends to refine strategies.

Compensation Range: $78,900- $98,600

The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.

Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in digital communications or content marketing.

  • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different digital platforms.

  • Trendsetter who is willing to try new things and knows how to apply cutting-edge communications strategies.

  • A strong background in conceiving or implementing proactive and creative communications campaigns.

  • Basic graphic design and video editing skills necessary.

  • Experience with content management systems (CMS).

  • Proficiency in analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights, etc.).

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams.

Citizenship Requirements:

Must be a U.S. citizen. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
