Receives telephone requests from patient care units to transport patients within the Hospital. Coordinates the movement of patients to ensure timely and efficient service by Transport Associates (TAs). Ensures that accurate, up-to-date patient information is transmitted to TAs regarding patient transports. Monitors the patient tracking system to alleviate potential problems. Must provide thorough and timely follow-up via phone calls, written communication, fax, or email to provide follow-through on patient transports. Channels customer complaints and irregularities to supervisors and managers as appropriate. Shift - Day Shift - 11:00 am - 7:30 pm, 40 hours per week. Every third weekend and every other holiday. Salary Range: Minimum 16.40 per hour - Maximum 27.09 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
