Plant Manager

We're looking for a Plant Manager to join our team and play a critical role in our daily operations. Working together with the Store Manager, Warehouse Manager, Director of Sales and Operations, Director of Manufacturing and the Vice President of Manufacturing, this individual will oversee the retread operations, personnel management, health and safety compliance, and overall performance of an assigned Pomp's retread location.

Job Requirements:

• Preferred: 2+ years of management experience.
• Strongly Preferred: 5+ years of Bandag retread experience or equivalent expertise.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows Office, BASys system, Teams, Excel, Outlook and iOS platforms.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of personal and business information.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers and co-workers.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment.
• Skilled in troubleshooting equipment using tools such as voltmeters and pressure gauges, with the ability to perform mechanical repairs to specification.
• Thorough knowledge of maintenance requirements for NDTs, buffers, builders, and chambers.
• Driver's License required, with ability to pass pre-employment driver's file.
• Ability to attend all company training events.

Education/Training:

• Technical Certificate or Associate's Degree Preferred.
• TIA/Bandag certification or willingness to obtain.
• Bandag CRT, ATA, OOSTA, Master Craftsman Certification, or willingness to obtain.
