Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Manager to oversee the management, maintenance, and inventory of company and GFE equipment. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can develop and implement equipment management policies, coordinate with teams to ensure operational readiness, and track equipment location and use efficiently.

The Equipment Manager will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is well-maintained, properly calibrated, and available when needed. Additionally, they will provide training on equipment handling and safety to team members.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement equipment management policies and procedures.

  • Maintain an inventory of all GFE and company equipment and perform regular maintenance, calibration, and repairs.

  • Coordinate with managers to ensure equipment is ready for use as needed.

  • Track and report equipment expenditures to maintain cost efficiency.

  • Provide training and instruction to team members on equipment handling and safety protocols.

Compensation Range: $78,900 - $98,600

The compensation range provided is a general guideline. When extending an offer, Saab, Inc. considers factors including (but not limited to) the role and associated responsibilities, location, and market and business considerations, as well as the candidate's work experience, key skills, and education/training.

Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred or equivalent experience in equipment management.

  • 5+ years of experience in equipment management, maintenance, or a related field.

  • Must have U.S. DoD SECRET Clearance or have previously held one.

  • Strong organizational skills with experience managing inventories and tracking equipment usage.

  • Knowledge of maintenance scheduling, calibration procedures, and repair processes.

  • Experience in training personnel on equipment safety and operational protocols.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate with multiple teams.

  • Proficiency in using inventory management and tracking systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in equipment management or maintenance (e.g., Certified Equipment Manager or similar credential).

  • Experience in budgeting and cost tracking for equipment expenditures.

  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.

Citizenship Requirements:

Must be a U.S. citizen. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
