**Pay for this Position is $15/hr.** Schedule will vary - Average of 4 hours, 2-4 days per week (to include some weekends), with opportunity to work additional shifts if desired This is a Temporary/Seasonal Position lasting from 6/9/2025 to 7/25/2025 **MUST SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE 3 FULL DAYS OF TRAINING, APRIL 11-13, AT WESTERN PLAINS CAMP** MISSION STATEMENT: The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. SUMMARY: Act as a lead Facilitator for the Challenge Course activity ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other similar and related duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Directly supervises participants in the Challenge Course. Create a positive environment for all participants. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED).Must complete training for the challenge course. Must pass test with a 90% and have a lead facilitator title based on the ACCT regulation. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. COMPUTER SKILLS General computer knowledge and skills required. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: Must pass all applicable background checks. English proficiency sufficient for communication with supervisors, co-workers, clients and customers.
