The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention. SPA has an immediate need for a Reliability Systems Engineer to support the onsite SPA team at Hill AFB, UT. The Sentinel Intercontinental Ballistic Missile Group (SIG) supports the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center in the acquisition of the LGM-35A Sentinel (GBSD) ICBM weapon system. SIG delivers program management, systems engineering, and subject matter expertise to ensure on-time delivery of a safe, secure, and reliable strategic nuclear weapon system. Responsibilities The Engineer will work with a highly skilled team providing critical program management and business analysis expertise to the government customer. The selected candidate must have knowledge of reliability technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and statistical techniques. Engineers with experience in assessment and modeling practices for development of subsystems with high Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), Mean Time Between Maintenance (MTBM), logistical and administrative delay times, and effective reliability levels of components that are difficult to test in-situ will be most competitive for this position. Experience in any of the following is preferred: design phases of reliability, availability, maintainability, supportability, and logistics; system integration and testing; maintainability demonstrations; reliability demonstrations; growth planning and testing; and/or sparing analyses. The role of this position involves analyzing performance reports while complying with industry standards as well as analyzing preliminary plans and reliability engineering programs to achieve U.S Air Force reliability objectives. The candidate will provide guidance and assistance to the customer as they drive the development and execution of closed loop/corrective action principles, tracking hardware and software (HW/SW) improvements, and operational performance over time for the nation's next generation ICBM designs. Qualifications Required Qualifications:
BS/MS in Electronic engineering, Electrical engineering, physics, or mathematics. 7 years directly related experience (5 years with MS degree). At least 3 years progressive responsibility in providing technical leadership Desired Qualifications:
