Senior Administrative Assistant

The Opportunity: The purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive administrative support and partnership to executives and internal teams, ensuring efficient information management, and facility and office coordination. This includes assisting liaising with departments for process improvements and maintaining office supplies and equipment. The role involves supporting internal departments with a focus on quality, confidentiality, and responsiveness.

  • Location: Fargo, North Dakota United States
  • Work Arrangement: This role is hybrid, where you will be expected to be in the office 3-4 days per week {M-F 37.5 hours}
  • The hourly range for this role is between $24.50 an hour and $36.75 an hour.

Your new role

* Maintains appointment schedules by planning and scheduling meetings; conferences, teleconferences and travel
*Assist in preparing reports, spreadsheets and presentations
*Audiovisual equipment, sets up meeting facilities and may take meeting minutes
*Welcomes guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries
*Manage invoices and process expenses
*Initiates special projects and process improvements based upon observations of department needs
*Works with facilities department in planning and organizing team space maintenance and facilities moves

Required Qualifications

  • Secondary school certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Secretarial qualifications.
  • Diploma holder.

Required Work Experience:

  • 4 years relevant experience

Preferred Work Experience

  • Experience in an administration role.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Administrative/secretarial experience in a sizable company.
  • Experience in an administration role directly supporting an executive.
  • Managing one's own time and the time of others
  • Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience
  • Demonstrated problem solving capabilities

Compensation Package:

The salary range for this role is provided above. This is the national range for location(s) listed. The salary offer will be decided based on the role's complexity, its location, and the candidate's professional background, including their education and experience. Beyond the base salary, regular full-time and part-time employees will also be eligible for QBE's annual discretionary bonus plan based on business and individual performance.We encourage all candidates to apply, even if their salary expectations fall outside of this range, as we are committed to finding the right fit for our team.
