Position Summary
Role Overview: The Manager of Talent Acquisition will act as a subject matter expert for the Talent Acquisition (TA) team, specializing in advanced recruiting methods, system optimization, and operational efficiency. This role involves planning, organizing, and directing the activities of the Talent Acquisition staff, particularly in managing requisitions and maintaining relationships with hiring managers. Key Responsibilities: * Expertise and Leadership: Provide advanced knowledge and guidance on recruiting methods and system optimization to the TA team. * Team Management: Oversee the Talent Acquisition staff, ensuring effective requisition management and strong relationships with hiring managers. * Service Excellence: Ensure high standards of service throughout the recruitment process, focusing on delivering an exceptional candidate experience. * Communication: Maintain proactive and timely communication regarding the status of recruitment efforts. * Consultative Direction: Offer consultative advice and industry expertise to hiring leaders, serving as the go-to expert in talent acquisition.

Responsibilities
Plan, organize and direct the work of a team of employees in relation to talent acquisition.
- Collaborates to solve complex problems and initiate opportunities to pursue and realize those opportunities as a team and cross-functionally.
- Proactively identifies areas for improvement, leading initiatives, and projects, analyzing and reporting key metrics, communicating continuous improvement activities that contribute to long-term operational excellence and training team members to accomplish the same.
- Lead new system implementations under the direct guidance of the Director, ensuring operational efficiencies and excellence are achieved.
- Seek input, compile recommendations, and communicate solutions to TA Team and Stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot, research, resolve or escalate issues as necessary, proactively keeping end-users aware of status and taking responsibility for ensuring outstanding issues are addressed in a timely manner.
- May assist in HR hiring metrics reporting; analyzing data/trends in partnership with HR Business Partner to develop solutions.
- Maintains ongoing process evaluation to improve processes that ensure efficiency and cost-effective HR services.
- Lead a detailed job scope meeting with the hiring leader to determine position specifications, providing relevant market data and recommendations on possible approaches to the search or candidate requirements.
- Develop and manage recruitment marketing plans or sourcing plans to determine the most appropriate candidate sources including career fairs and campus recruiting.
- Stay appraised of the most advanced candidate search and pipelining techniques and keep the team appraised and current.
- Develop and maintain processes to keep candidates engaged throughout the hiring process, ensuring consistent communication on the status of the search.
- Identify perceived difficulties with searches and research and recommend solutions to both internal and external stakeholders. The most challenging searches will be assigned for expertise.
- Proactively and regularly communicate the status of each search to the hiring leader, providing a consultative approach with recommendations on how to move forward.
- Supervise, train, and make hiring recommendations for new HR Coordinators; conduct performance evaluations for direct reports. Facilitate team meetings to ensure effective communication and articulate information and/or business rules via writtenn and verbal communication,
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification
- Understands and performs in accordance with all applicable regulatory and compliance requirements
- Complies with all standard operating policies and procedures
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field required
Experience
- Minimum of 4 years prior recruiting experience required
- Minimum of 2 years leadership experience required
- Project management, system integration and implementation experience preferred
- Experience in Healthcare or related field preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of principles and procedures for recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, and human resources information systems. required
- Knowledge of legal or regulatory environment. required
- Strong customer service focus with ability to determine customer needs and respond appropriately. required
