POSITION SUMMARY: As a Clinical Pharmacist on the Operations team, you will be highly integrated at the front-line of medication production, verification, and distribution, with oversight of technician workflow in the central inpatient pharmacy and sterile compounding suites. You will have the opportunity to cross-train in satellite pharmacy areas, and cross-cover clinical pharmacy shifts as needed. JOB REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, and REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED: PharmD Degree (or Bachelor's plus 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience) Licensure to practice pharmacy in the state of Massachusetts (or eligible to become fully licensed within 45 days from date of hire) EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS: Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred, but not required Work requires a high level of analytical ability, organizational and personal management skills, and focus to ensure a concerted approach to operations Work requires a comprehensive understanding of the procedures, systems, and equipment used by pharmacists and technicians in the pharmacy, as well as a high proficiency in performing pharmacists' duties and responsibilities Proficient with standard software used in pharmacy office setting (i.e. MS Word, Excel, pharmacy systems, web browsers, etc.) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Professional in conduct and demeanor.
