Job Description

Benefits:

Salary:

$180,000 - $210,000 + 20% Bonus Target

Summary:

The position has two main areas of responsibility. The first area is to assist with development of platform-level financial forecasts (including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly financial updates). The second area is focused on providing financial support to Commercial operations. This includes leading a team of two business analysts focused on commissions, sales incentive plans, customer rebates, and detailed financial analysis of pricing and profitability at both the product line and customer level.

Essential Functions:

  • Identify and recommend opportunities to simplify operating procedures, internal controls, processed computer information and computer support to users based on needs, to standardize procedures, facilitate and/or improve the efficiency of the company, take advantage of economies of scale and optimize the use of computing resources.
  • Assist with the timely execution of the monthly financial close process in accordance with US GAAP and internal Signode policies and procedures.
  • Conduct business planning activities including the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, as well as weekly updates on financial performance during the month.
  • Manage team of two business analysts tasked with computing/distributing quarterly sales commissions, calculating customer rebates, generating sales performance updates, and other ad-hoc financial analyses.
  • Foster a strong partnership with Commercial and Functional leads by providing relevant financial analysis and insight to drive improvement across the Group.
  • Responsible for talent management and employee lifecycle activities, from hiring to terminating.
  • Foster an environment of teamwork; emphasize the importance of internal collaboration to meet and exceed internal customers' expectations.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in finance / accounting. Master's degree and/or certificated accountant designation a plus.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of progressive financial experience.
  • Prior FP&A experience.
  • High proficiency in MS office.
  • Experience and working knowledge of financial consolidation systems such as OneStream and Hyperion.
  • Experience with various integrated ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP, SOX Accounting and Business Management Software a plus.
