ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Provide leadership and technical direction to ensure process designs conform to sanitary standards and have the capability to produce products that meet customer and business requirements.
  • Lead plant capital budgeting process and participate in the Global process, write capital request justifications, manage capital projects, and provide technical and business analysis as required.
  • Provide technical and organizational leadership for the commercialization of new products, processes and systems introduced at any of the wet wipe manufacturing facilities as required.
  • Develops Capital Appropriation Requests to support future growth of the facility coupled with support of existing projects to fruition.
  • Provide leadership, vision and coordination to improve key performance metrics and drive continuous improvement in the areas of safety, quality, cost, and asset management.
  • Provide leadership and support to ensure that a safe and healthful environment is provided for all employees and compliance to all local, state and federal industry regulations and corporate policies are maintained.
  • Serve as a liaison between facility manufacturing and Global Engineering to facilitate process improvement and capital projects to meet business objectives.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential accountabilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.)

    B.S. Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university; degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing or Electrical preferred. Minimum of seven (7) years engineering experience with both manufacturing support and project engineering experience; of this two (2) years' experience must be in a managerial role with salaried reports. Experience in sanitary processing preferred; IE: food, liquids, cosmetic or medical. Experience in implementing Lean practices and Six Sigma certification preferred. Demonstrated track record of meeting multiple objectives, team building skills, and excellent communication skills are a must.
