Requisition ID:75307 Responsibilities We are seeking a team-oriented Assembly Specialist with a positive attitude to join the Defense and Space business unit within Skyworks. The Assembly Specialist is key in ensuring high performance and high-quality products are manufactured to customers for aerospace, defense, medical, extreme industrial, and high-reliability markets and applications. This position requires a person who can communicate and interface with different departments for assembly issues and corrective actions and be a self-motivated team player with a strong desire to succeed in a quality-focused assembly operations environment. Primary Responsibilities: * Work as part of a team assembling semiconductors under a microscope using a liquid dispensing system, die attach, wire bond, seal, and mark equipment * Prepare materials for production use (i.e., staging, measuring, mixing, etc.) * Perform visual inspections before, during, and after the assembly process * Review and complete lot travelers to ensure the assembly process is documented correctly Required Experience and Skills High School Diploma or Equivalent/Higher Experience Required 5 years minimum experience in semiconductor processing Hands-on experience with electrical testing and production lot processing at MIL-STD quality or similar (such as AS9100, J-STD, or other) preferred. Intermediate computer skills (Windows environment and Microsoft Office Preferred) Ability to work under a stereo microscope and microscope probe stations Good hand eye coordination, dexterity, and basic clean room proficiency Familiarity with MIL-STD visual inspection criteria Meticulous attention to detail and able to understand work related documents Highly motivated, hands on, cooperative, team player, and positive attitude a must US Citizen or Green Card Holder Ability to work shift: Day Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Desired Experience and Skills Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Technical and mechanical aptitude. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Proactive approach to problem-solving and task execution. Experience working with SAP, MS office. #LI-SJ1 The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD$23.41 -$40.72 per hour. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
