Job Description General Responsibilities: Terracon's Salt Lake City office is looking for a talented addition to our Environmental Department! As one of the largest and most-established environmental consulting firms in Utah, Terracon has an incredible team of environmental professionals and amazing clients. We are looking for a Project Manager for asbestos and industrial hygiene projects in our Salt Lake City office. The selected candidate will manage all aspects of initial hazardous building material inspections, asbestos and lead abatement observations and clearance sampling, and industrial hygiene inspections to ensure they are safely completed on time and within scope and budget. You are r esponsible for completing the project as per its contracted scope; monitor progress and performance against the project plan; troubleshoot and recommend or resolve operational problems and minimize delays. You may be responsible for resource management, project scheduling, budgets and forecasts, and working with external vendors, subcontractors or contractors. The candidate will conduct meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of the project to the project team and client. You will set priorities, assign tasks, and coordinate project staff to meet project targets and milestones. You may have responsibilities to communicate with the client and deliver work products to satisfaction of client. You will coordinate efforts with your Authorized Project Reviewer to make sure that the APR has opportunity to engage throughout the project, particularly at critical junctures. You are involved with approving invoices, preparing change orders, and collections. You will be required to adhere to strict company health and safety standards. Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
