The Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) role within wealth management/ investment banking involves a range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and mitigating financial risks. Here are some key aspects of the job description:
* Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments of new and existing clients to identify potential financial crimes, such as money laundering or fraud. * Data Analysis: Analyze complex financial data and transaction patterns to detect suspicious activities. * Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act and the USA PATRIOT Act. * Documentation: Maintain detailed records of due diligence processes and findings, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. * Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as compliance, legal, and operations, to support the firm's overall risk management strategy. * Reporting: Prepare and present reports on due diligence findings to sr. management and regulatory bodies. * Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest regulatory changes and industry best practices to continuously improve the EDD processes *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $38.00/hr.
