SUMMARY

The SMT team member will undergo cross-training in all aspects of the ETI process to enhance flexibility and efficiency within the team. This position will assist in alleviating bottlenecks in daily operations, ensuring smoother workflow and continuity. Additionally, the team member will be assigned a specific number of hours for conformal coating tasks, as needed. The allocation of these hours will be determined by the production supervisor on a daily or weekly basis, based on operational requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned:

  • Follow defined work instructions to operate automated machinery to complete work according to IPC standards.
  • Adhere to company quality expectations.
  • Perform work within standard allotted time.
  • Follow all safety rules.
  • Maintain an orderly workstation.
  • Read and interpret assembly drawings and notes.
  • Set up, run, identify, and diagnose machine issues, and adjust automated machinery within company guidelines.
  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the Team lead or Supervisor
  • SMT Operator repairs or replaces defective parts rejected by AOI or test personnel when needed.



POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Basic PC Knowledge.



PREFERRED SKILLS

  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in an electronics or technical environment.
  • Knowledge of IPC A-610 and J-STD-001
  • SMT machine operation experience.
