Position Description

We're looking for a full-time, staff ABAP Developer, Level II to join our Day & Zimmermann team located in Philadelphia, PA. The ABAP Developer is involved in all phases of a life cycle implementation, including development of technical specifications, prototypes, design, configuration, testing and production support. This position assists with development and implementation of SAP Applications using ABAP Workbench tools. The ABAP Developer provides support to users and help team members in resolving problems related to ABAP tools. This position implements new functionality and support existing custom programs in ERP. As the ABAP Developer, you will provide support to the Day & Zimmermann strategy and development of SAP applications.

As the ABAP Developer, Level II, here's the work you'll do:

  • Design, Develop and test applications using various SAP tools.
  • Support and maintain existing ABAP programs and objects. Communicate effectively with other team members.
  • Work with process team members to Develop Reports including ALV and Classical Reports, Dialog Transactions. Enhancements utilizing the enhancement framework, BADI's and User-exits. Interfaces and BDC programs. Develop and support form development such as Adobe Forms, SmartForms and SAP Scripts.
  • Develop web applications using ABAP WebDynpros, UI5/Fiori. Experience in using BTP Business Application Studio will be a plus.
  • Ability to work on Integration with third party systems using Web-Services which include OData development and maintenance using SAP Gateway Service Builder. Data exchange using SOAP and API calls. Exposure to working on the BTP Integration Suite will be a plus.
  • Experience in Sap ABAP on HANA (AMDP & CDS Views). Debugging, Troubleshooting, Event Tracing and Performance Tuning Skills.

This role is for you if you have these skills:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in working with ABAP development workbench such as Dialog Programming, Data dictionary, Object oriented programming, Report programming using ALVs, Smart forms, Adobe forms, interfaces, BDCs.
  • Experience in at least 3 full cycle ERP implementations.
  • Have expertise on technical areas such as ABAP on HANA, CDS & AMDPs and Enhancement Framework. Data exchange and third party tool integration using Web Services like OData, SOAP and RFC. Ability to work with the BTP Integration Suite will be a plus.
  • Experience in designing enterprise applications using ABAP WebDynpros, SAP Web IDE/UI5. Ability to work with the BTP Business Application Studio will be a plus.
  • Ability to understand requirements and develop programs and applications.

  • Bachelors Degree in Business or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years relevant work experience.
  • Great attitude and team player.
  • Successful completion of background screening process.



In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $101,840.00 - $165,490.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
