Pay Rate: $25.00 - $33.00/hour, DOE.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm. This is a temp-to-hire with the eligibility of full-time permanent placement with our manufacturing client.

This position is eligible for Paid Sick and Safe Time (PSST) under the Healthy Families and Workplaces Act. All employees may also make pre-tax or post-tax (Roth) contributions to our retirement plan - must be 18 years of age to participate.

JOB SUMMARY:

GMAW, FCAW, GTAW Welders with Pressure Vessel Experience:

Goodwill Staffing has a leading manufacturing and fabrication client, who is looking to hire welders that are experienced in GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW. Welders with 5 years of welding/fabrication experience and pressure vessel experience are encouraged to apply.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Welds and fabricates a variety of engineered metal products, ranging from structural to piping to vessel work.



QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:




  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.



Experience:



  • Capable of 6G certification in GMAW/FCAW and GTAW processes.
  • Capable of reading complex drawings, including weld symbols.
  • 5 or more years of welding and fabrication experience.
  • Experience demonstrating X-Ray quality welds and capable of fitting up complex weldments with consideration for tolerance, shrinkage, and heat induced warpage.
  • Experience with various metals, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and nickel alloys.



    Other:



    • Welders will be required to take the following tests: Shop Math Test, Weld Symbology Test, as well as the following weld tests:

      • 6G GMAW Downhill and FCAW Uphill
      • 6G GTAW
