Overview

Job Purpose

The Market Data Compliance Analyst is essential for the governance of NYSE's commercial market data business. The role will be responsible for conducting data usage reviews of NYSE's market data customers, collecting, and analyzing information to ensure customers' compliance of data policies. The ideal candidate should have experience in either market data subscriptions for consumer firms or for vendors, or have audit experience.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market data audits of customers' data usage and infrastructure, including entitlements systems and controls that support data consumption and dissemination of data.
  • Plan audits by researching customer information; manage audit life cycle of kickoff and walkthrough meetings, data collection and analytics; determine audit results including liability exposures and corrective actions.
  • Document standard practices and processes.
  • Communicate with customers - articulate expected collaboration and materials required and manage expectations and timeframes efficiently.
  • Support internal market data team on projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Keep abreast with market data industry and regulatory landscape.
  • Participate in development of ongoing and planning of future audit strategies.
  • Review existing policies and processes to identify enhancement opportunities.
  • Participate in an array of broader team and management initiatives.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a field that demonstrates analytical disciplines.
  • 2+ years' experience in market data management or financial audit fields.
  • Highly motivated self-starter, with strong interpersonal skills and can work both independently and collaborate in team environment.
  • Must have high levels of curiosity, be self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills and can work both independently and collaborate in a team environment.
  • Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), with strong Excel skills required.

New York Base Salary Range

The expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, is between $78,000 - $90,900 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange's incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual. Regular full-time ICE employees are eligible for a suite of competitive employee benefits, including healthcare coverage (medical, dental and vision), a 401(k) plan, life insurance, time off, and paid leave for qualifying circumstances.
