Rombauer Vineyards

This is a hybrid role with 4 days in-office, 1 day remote eligible

What You Will Do:

The Associate Brand Manager manages brand building initiatives from ideation to creation and execution that lead to the delivery of strategic marketing objectives for Rombauer Vineyards. The ABM aids in increasing brand loyalty and awareness to drive consumer demand, assists in the development of business reviews for Rombauer, ensuring marketing plans are consistent with the winery's brand equity, revenue growth, and profit objectives. Travel required up to 20% of the time.

60% - Brand Management

  • Develop annual brand plans in partnership with Brand Manager and Director of Marketing
  • Execute marketing initiatives to drive consumer demand
  • Support national and international sales organization with programs, tools and sellingmaterials
  • Own creation of marketing collateral across DTC, Wholesale, and International
  • Analyze and report on Rombauer brand performance monthly to activate against businessdrivers
  • Observe and analyze new trends and competitive activities to seek out innovative ways tobuild marketing effectiveness and efficiency
  • Communicate strategies to cross functional partners & leadership on a planned and adhoc basis
  • Lead cross functional teams to drive portions of a project/plan working within the Scrumprocess
  • Oversee the work of outside agencies
  • Track and update A&P budget for Rombauer Vineyards

20% - Event Support and Market Work

  • Aid marketing in execution of local, regional, and national event activation
  • Represent Rombauer in market as a brand ambassador presenting wines to on and offpremise buyers, conducting staff trainings, distributor education, and wine dinners

20% - Digital Team Support

  • Own asset management across all systems
  • Support content creation for brand needs including social, POS, web, etc.
  • Manage templatized email communications for wholesale

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of experience of marketing, sales, public relations experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's plus 2 years of Gallo sales or marketing experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Required to be 21 years of age or older.
  • Required to lift and move product and equipment weighing up to 45 lbs.
  • Required to engage in frequent walking and standing.
  • Experienced in reading and comprehending simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Experienced in writing simple correspondence and procedures.
  • Required to work flexible schedules to include evenings and weekends (occasional overtime).
  • Required to travel to various locations within the region to promote the winery.
  • Candidate is required to have a valid driver's license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire. This position will undergo a motor vehicle check (MVR) to confirm a history of safe and responsible driving. If needed, candidate must obtain the appropriate state driver's license based on the position's location within 30 days of hire.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

What Will Set You Apart:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of marketing, sales, public relation, or event coordination experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Knowledge of the different wine varietals.
  • Wine Industry experience.

Compensation:

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $95,600 - $143,400
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
