Mechanical Engineer, Advanced Engineering

Savannah River National Laboratory is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the Weapons Production Technology Directorate's Advanced Engineering Division's Mechanical Systems & Customized Equipment Development Group. The candidate will assist in developing, designing, fabricating, assembling, testing, and fielding specialty equipment and systems that will be deployed in unique operating environments. The candidate will need to have an excellent working knowledge and experience in Computer Aided Design and fabrication methods. Candidate needs to have experience in designing and fabricating custom components, equipment, and systems. Candidate will need to have acumen and experience to work on research & development engineering programs and complex engineering design projects. Candidate will work on an interdisciplinary team to solve technical problems and achieve results.
