SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Mechanic will require the individual to utilize technical skills to work on the maintenance team to maintain plant assets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Executes corrective maintenance tasks to maintain plant assets by utilizing technical knowledge to troubleshoot mechanical, fluid power and electrical systems. This includes driving to and addressing the root cause of issues using Continuous Improvement tools.

Executes preventive maintenance tasks to maintain plant assets and ensures tasks are current in partnership with the Supervisor. This includes but is not limited to; lubrication tasks, measurement and replacement of wear parts, uptime inspections, etc. Implements follow up for identified issues and applies learnings to advance the program.

Executes predictive maintenance tasks to maintain plant assets utilizing vibration analysis, infrared technology, ultrasonic technology and others as needed to monitor the condition of plant assets. Ensures predictive maintenance tasks are current in partnership with the Supervisor. Implements follow up for identified issues and applies learnings to advance the program.

Supports all plant safety, quality, 5S, and Continuous Improvement initiatives. This support may include but is not limited to actively participating in audits and all aspects of team concepts, such as displaying a positive attitude which are necessary to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Assumes responsibility for the Quality System requirements defined in 4.1.2.1 of the Pepperidge Farm, Inc. - Denver Plant Quality Procedures Manual and is committed to meeting the responsibilities of the Team Member Role Description.

EDUCATION and/ or EXPERIENCE
An Associate Degree in a related vocational field is required or a High School Diploma in combination with a minimum three years' experience in Industrial Maintenance.

COMPUTER SKILLS
Computer proficiency to be able to use Microsoft Office programs, the SAP CMMS and programs associated with predictive maintenance equipment is required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment may also be elevated.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
