Salary range:
Total Negotiated Salary (TNS) calculation includes AAMC salary benchmarks for Pathology ranging from $85,734.50 - $109,093.48. The posted UC Salary Scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. Application Window Open date: April 3, 2025 Next review date: Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Thursday, Jul 31, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at the University of California, Irvine is now accepting applications for a 1-year Clinical Instructor in Neuropathology position, starting July 2025. The Neuropathology service includes all aspects of surgical and autopsy neuropathology as well as neuromuscular pathology. The clinical instructor will be involved in the sign-out of Neuropathology cases including surgical and autopsy cases, frozen sections and consultation cases. There will be after hours and weekend frozen section call. There will also be active involvement in resident and other teaching and presenting at brain tumor boards and other conferences. Research including research autopsy brain evaluations is expected.
