Job Title: Aviation instructor Designer Location: Auburn, WA 98001 Duration: 12 months assignment with possible extension Shift Schedule: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Pay Rate: $45/hour on W2 without benefits Role & Responsibilities: Ability to apply knowledge of instructional skills (e.g. preparation, delivery, summary, assess student progress, remediation, motivation, engagement, etc.) Using a variety of media, clearly conveys information and ideas to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the content. Identifies business specific learning objectives and adapts curriculum content and delivery methods. Identifies potential issues that impact performance and recommends development of improvement recommendations. Able to assess requirements and schedule courses and instructors. Analyze, validate, optimize and coordinate training requests for new hire, recall, and transfer employees. Be able to support off-shift as necessary. Required Skills/Experience: Experience presenting to a group. Experience with training curriculums that include hands-on activities. 3 + years of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. 1+ year of experience in data analytics. 1+ year of experience using reporting tools. Willing to coach learners/students at all levels. Preferred Skills/Experience: Fabrication process knowledge. Familiar with foundational skills and systems like PSDS, CMES, REDARS, Drawings, Precision Measuring Tools. Experience with designing/developing course content and instructional materials. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience using My Learning or other Learning Management Systems. Ability to organize, prioritize and pay attention to detail and ensure accuracy. Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).
