What You'll Do:

  • Perform high-complexity testing on blood and body fluids to assist in diagnosing and treating disease.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, contributing to critical patient care decisions.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to new Medical Laboratory Scientists.

  • Ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting using laboratory information systems.

What We're Looking For:

Education & Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory/medical technology science.

  • ASCP certification (or equivalent) in two or more general lab areas preferred.

  • Eligibility for ASCP certification is required within 6 months of hire.

Experience & Skills:

  • Competency in at least two or more lab disciplines (e.g., chemistry, microbiology, hematology, blood bank).

  • Strong verbal communication to collaborate effectively across departments.

  • Excellent written documentation skills and computer proficiency.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and manage tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

  • Microbiology preferred but not required
