The Senior Accounting Analyst will perform complex accounting and analysis tasks, including analyzing financial data, producing, and presenting comprehensive financial reports, and developing, implementing, and executing internal controls for related operational processes. The Senior Accounting Analyst will actively develop, execute and supervise operational processes which support the mission of CDPHP and its subsidiaries. In addition, the Senior Accounting Analyst will act as a leader in the Accounting Department. The incumbent will represent Accounting on project teams. The Senior Accounting Analyst will also assist in ensuring compliance with Model Audit Rule.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field required.
  • CPA or advanced degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in public or private accounting required.
  • Experience working within a larger corporate environment and/or heavily regulated or highly analytic environment required.
  • Experience with project management/coordination required.
  • Insurance or healthcare industry accounting preferred.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and experience in complex accounting processes and analysis required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook and PowerPoint is required. Advanced experience in Excel required.
  • Experience with enterprise accounting systems, such as Multiview, required.
  • SOX/MAR knowledge preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, review, and interpret financial information.
  • Demonstrated ability to retrieve and analyze financial data as well as the ability to produce and present comprehensive reports.
  • Initiative to work independently as well as within a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of operational processes and interface with accounting.
  • Demonstrated ability to pro-actively identify problems, as well as recommend and/or implement effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and develop relationships both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a changing and fast-paced environment.

CDPHP salary ranges are designed to be competitive with room for professional and financial growth. Individual compensation is based on several factors unique to each candidate, such as work experience, qualifications, and skills. In addition to cash compensation, CDPHP employees may be eligible for an incentive payment, a discretionary cash reward based on employee and company performance. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.
