One (1) Full-time Limited Term grant-funded position. Funding for this position is contingent upon the terms of the grant. This position is funded through June 30, 2029. This is an academic year position which typically runs from mid- August through mid-May. Under the supervision of the Dean, this position involves teaching classroom and clinical courses in the Radiography program. Clinical instruction is provided in acute and ambulatory care settings. Related duties include participating in division and department activities and other duties as assigned.

Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities

- Prepare for and deliver instruction and perform teaching-related activities.
- Manage the classroom/laboratory.
- Develop curriculum and monitor and revise as appropriate to maintain course effectiveness; assist in program evaluation.
- Manage equipment, supplies and materials.
- Assess student performance and advise students on academic issues.
- Collaborate with advisory committee in program area.
- Attend departmental and institutional meetings.
- Promote the education/training program, participate in efforts to recruit and retain students, and participate in efforts to market MATC.
- Support student organizations and activities.
- Develop relationships with business and industry.
- Complete program evaluation and follow-up.
- Maintain certification, continue professional development and stay current in field.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
-
Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in one of the following: Radiologic Sciences Healthcare or Business Administration/ Management, or Education.
Occupational Experience: Must have a minimum of three years of full-time or equivalent (6,000 hours) work experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital setting. In addition, one of the following must be met.
- At least two (2) years of work experience must have occurred within the last five years;
OR
- Two years of teaching Radiologic Technology course work at the post-secondary level within the last five years.
Industry Certification or License Required: Must have a current registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Must be a Licensed Radiographer by the State of Wisconsin DSPS.
Additional Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge or experience with engaged and service learning strongly preferred.
- Must be able to communicate effectively through both oral and written means.
- Must have knowledge of assessment of student academic achievement techniques.
- Must meet Higher Learning Commission (HLC) standards (if applicable).
- Must be able to relate successfully with students and staff of diverse cultural, social and educational backgrounds.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without accommodation.

Must satisfactorily complete health screen requirements for the Healthcare Pathway, which include a criminal background check, drug test, and verification of immunizations.

- Online Information Management Systems - Experience with INFOnline or other online information management systems used for student advising, student programs, grading, class schedules and rosters
- Blackboard - Experience with Blackboard or other web-based course - management systems
- Technology-based Instruction - Experience with technology-based instructional delivery systems including SMART symposium, interactive touch screen monitors, LCD projectors, DVD players and/or other classroom technology
- Emerging Technologies - Experience with emerging technologies (eg. social networking applications)
- (Optional) Distance Learning Instruction - Experience with on-line, two-way video, ITV, and other methods of distance learning instruction.

Supplemental Information

Start Date: This position supports the Healthcare Pathway and is available to start in the fall semester or August 2025. Hours: Up to 32 hours weekly, in-person, primarily based out of the Downtown Campus. Work is conducted during scheduled course hours, Monday - Friday. Hours vary based on departmental needs. Employees will conduct all work hours in the State of Wisconsin, performing work outside the state is strictly prohibited. Salary: Salary is determined by years of experience credit and internal salary equity. Salary determination will be only based on years of credited experience that is listed on the job application, please include complete work history.
