Business Development Manager at Juniper Networks - Remote in North Carolina or Indiana

Juniper Networks is seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to manage an assigned group of Juniper Partners in the Jumpstart Program to accelerate pipeline creation, partner deal registration and incremental partner-driven revenue. The BDM will lead all Jumpstart program deliverables and business development responsibilities, cultivating partner growth and maturity across sales & technical readiness, operational agility, and overall velocity towards business objectives. Working closely with the Partner Account Manager (PAM), DPAM, and Distribution Partner, the BDM will ensure their assigned partners are onboarded and activated into the Jumpstart program and then accelerating their growth journey within Juniper. They will help foster strong relationships across various partner stakeholders and internal counterparts, driving high-touch business development activities and GTM program adoption.

Responsibilities:



  • Program Management: Lead and support all Jumpstart program activities resulting in Partner Development: Creating and executing joint business plans, sales strategies, sales & technical readiness, deal/opportunity management, lead development, forecasting, end customer account development and Marketing Development (MDF) delivery. Drive adoption across all strategic focus areas of Juniper Partner Advantage (JPA), Juniper's Product Portfolio and Enterprise segments.
  • Revenue Growth: Responsible for all business development activities resulting in pipeline creation and partner-initiated revenue. Identify cross-sell/up-sell/refresh opportunities across the Juniper product portfolio. Maximize adoption of GTM programs to generate pipeline.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Establish and nurture relationships with partner stakeholders, while collaborating with internal counterparts: Partner Account Managers (PAM), Virtual Sales, Partner Sales Engineers (PSE), Marketing and Distribution ensuring effective communication, alignment, and execution towards joint objectives.
  • Performance Management: Track and communicate partner performance and compliance requirements with updates into Juniper CRM. Work with the PAM/ DPAM/ Distribution Partner to provide regular updates on partner status to relevant stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations to optimize partner business and drive continuous improvement. IE: Revenue attainment, Certifications, Enablement, Campaigns, SPIFFs, Champions, MDF etc.
  • Elevate Partner Experience: Foster thriving, profitable partner relationships by delivering tailored, cross functional support across partner stakeholders. Drive utilization of Juniper tools and resources to support agility, productivity, and capacity building



Preferred Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience in channel, sales, account management or marketing, preferably in Enterprise IT
  • Successful track record in meeting sales and business development targets
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver Juniper partner value proposition, channel strategy and product portfolio
  • Strong understanding of Juniper partner ecosystem and how to drive opportunity management, partner development, pipeline creation and revenue growth strategies.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, high touch, dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in English with additional languages valued (German, French, Spanish or Italian)


Minimum Salary: $119,680.00

Maximum Salary:$172,040.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $119,680.00 and $172,040.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper's pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
