REPORTS TO: PLANT MANAGER

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

Refer to Safety Spec SS008

RESPONSIBILITES:

1. To be responsible personally for the operation of the Engineering Department
2. To cooperate with all other department managers in the solution of any problems of which I may be of assistance.
3. To maintain an effective preventative maintenance program on utilities and building.
4. To maintain the monorail hoist and cleaning systems, air condition g system, electrical system, and water system.
5. Provide for maintenance and design requirements for the grading frames.
6. Provide for machinery layout.
7. Obtain quotations, proposals, and bids on work within the plant engineering function.
8. To coordinate work with outside contractors.
9. Maintain and control of the shop.
10. Provide for janitorial services.
11. Assist in providing for and maintaining legal requirements.
12. Provide for waste and refuse removal.
13. Provide for preventive and repair maintenance on take-pus and on electrical components of the looms.
14. Provide maintenance and improvements on yards and grounds.
15. To maintain the lift trucks, tuggers, and other similar equipment.
16. To make recommendations as related to equipment purchases.
17. To assist in preparation of SER's.
18. To coordinate with DMSC.
19. To keep Plant Manager informed as to status of project work and equipment conditions which affect plant operation.
20. To handle or refer to Hunan Resources Department all personnel problems or questions.
21. To comply with all company policies.
22. To maintain good labor and materials costs.
23. To set up and maintain an effective fire brigade.
24. To maintain an effective plant security system.
25. To maintain an excellent safety record.
26. To meet as closely as possible the recommendation and/or regulations of OSHA, Liberty Mutual, FIA, and Factory Mutual.
27. Coordinate chemical hazard program.
