Overview

This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States, with the preferred location in Raleigh, NC.

The position is responsible for managing a Team of Credit Resolution professionals that are tasked with servicing, developing, and enacting the best possible resolution strategy for at-risk Business and Commercial loans, with the goal of yielding the best possible outcome for the Bank. While this position is primarily a leadership role, the Team member may directly manage credit from time to time. The position will be responsible for ensuring continual & strict compliance with Bank policies and department procedures, and ensuring departmental goals are met.


Responsibilities

  • Leadership -This individual must lead by example, ensure a positive work environment, attract, develop, and retain talent, allowing associates to thrive.
  • Credit Resolution - Oversees the resolution of complex Business and Commercial at-risk credits, understands the importance of forecasts, and ensures departmental goals are achieved.
  • Business Strategy - Provides guidance to the Team and assist in determining the most appropriate and the most effective resolution strategy, yielding the greatest possible ROA, at the earliest juncture.
  • Credit Analysis- Must have the ability to interpret and analyze financial information for complex companies.
  • Compliance- This position requires the individual to ensure strict compliance with Bank policy and to ensure there is continual adherence to the departments Standard Operating Procedural Manual.
  • Visionary- Continuous consideration of efficiencies, future state, a better way to achieve success without creating additional risk and being sensitive to expenses is a must.
  • Communication- Must be able to communicate effectively in written form and orally in front of a broad and sometimes large audience.
  • Focus - Individual must be able to focus in a fast-paced environment, adapt to change, key on details, and always protect the Bank.
  • Technical Abilities - Individual must be comfortable with technology and must be able to gain working knowledge of multiple operating systems and risk mitigating tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience in Commercial Credit, including management OR High School Diploma or GED and 14 years of experience in Commercial Credit, including management

Skill(s): Credit Analysis, Financial Analysis, Risk Assessment, Tactical Thinking, Negotiations, Technical skills, Organization, Leadership, Effective Communicator, Champions Culture and Change, Drives Results, etc.

The base pay for this position is generally between $121,000 and $210,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
